New Clients
Welcome — We're Glad You Found Us
Whether you've just welcomed a puppy, moved to the Gulf Coast, or you're looking for a veterinary home you can trust, Roberts Small Animal Clinic is ready to take care of you and your pet.

A calm first visit, start to finish
Crossing the threshold of a new clinic can feel like a big step. Here's what typically happens when you walk through our door.
Settle in
You'll check in at the front desk. Our waiting room is calm and spacious — take a breath. You're in the right place.
Stay with your pet
You are welcome in the exam room. We believe you know your pet best, and we want you beside them for every visit.
Talk it through
We'll listen first — what's been going on, what you're worried about, and what you hope for — then examine your pet and discuss next steps in clear language.
Leave with a plan
You'll go home knowing what we found, what we recommend, and how to reach us if anything changes.
What to bring
A little prep helps the visit go smoothly — especially if you're transferring records from another clinic.
- Your dog on a leash, or your cat in a secure carrier
- Any previous vaccine records or medical history you have
- A list of current medications, supplements, or special diets
- Notes about concerns you've noticed — appetite, energy, scratching, limping, or behavior changes
- Questions you want to ask the doctor (write them down so nothing gets forgotten)

Get directions →Questions new families ask
Do I need an appointment for my first visit?
No. Walk-ins welcome during office hours. Appointments are only required for surgeries — call us to schedule those.
I've never been to your clinic. Will it feel overwhelming?
We hope not. We're a family practice — Dr. Allen Roberts, Dr. Ryan Roberts, and Dolores Roberts — and our goal is for you to feel treated as the most important person of the moment. Come as you are; we'll meet you there.
What if I don't have old vaccine records?
Bring what you have. If records are incomplete or you're transferring from another clinic, tell us at check-in — we can help rebuild a prevention plan that fits your pet's age and lifestyle.
Can I bring my pet from outside Moss Point?
Yes. Families across the Mississippi Gulf Coast visit us for wellness care, vaccines, dental work, surgery, and sick visits. We're at 3825 Main Street, Moss Point, MS 39563.
